Move ranking and TM advice
Should I TM this, and do I need an Elite TM?
Bite + Brutal Swing
- Bite + Brutal Swing is both the best set and reachable with ordinary TMs — keep re-rolling Fast and Charged TMs until you land it.
- A second charged move costs 75,000 Stardust and 75 Candy. In a raid it is only worth it when the two charged moves have different types — the simulator always throws whichever is charged, so a second move of the same type buys nothing.
- Recommended general moveset (the Pokebox form's pick): Bite + Brutal Swing, 22.0 cycle DPS. Elite TM option: Smack Down + Brutal Swing, +1.4% (within 2%, so the standard moveset is recommended).

Best without an Elite TM
Bite + Brutal Swing — 10:03 against Mewtwo, 99% of this Pokemon's best cycle DPS. Both halves are reachable by re-rolling ordinary Fast and Charged TMs.
How this is worked out
Cycle DPS is movesetCycleDps from src/engine/damage.ts: fire the fast move until the charged move is paid for (energy rounded up, so a partly wasted fast move still costs its full duration), fire it, repeat, with STAB applied per move and no target. Time to win is one deterministic battle of the shipped raid simulator per pairing — the same first pass rankAttackers uses to choose a moveset — and the best five get a 10-run Monte Carlo on top. "Elite TM" is read from the snapshot's own eliteFastMoves / eliteChargedMoves lists, and the second-charged-move cost from its thirdMove block.
