Species comparison

Normal, Shadow, Mega or Dynamax — which form do I bring?

Every form of one species, against one boss, on one scale. Shadow trades defense for attack, a Mega is faster still and boosts the rest of the lobby, and the Dynamax forms fight in a different game mode entirely — which is why they get their own panel rather than a row in the same table.

Bring Mega Tyranitar — 19.1% faster than the plain form

Mega Tyranitar finishes Mewtwo in 8:55 against Tyranitar's 11:01, dropping the lobby from 3 trainers to 2. Remember only one Mega can be active per trainer — and it boosts everyone else's damage too, which this table does not count.

In a Max Battle

Tyranitar has no Dynamax or Gigantamax form, so there is nothing to show here. The Max Battle section lists every species that does.

How this is worked out

Each raid-legal form is given its own best moveset by the same cheap deterministic pass rankAttackers uses (one fixed-seed battle per moveset against the boss's first variant), then measured with a 16-run Monte Carlo against the boss's full standard movepool. The Shadow row applies the Game Master's own 1.2x attack / 0.8333x defense; the Mega rows are separate species entries with their own stats and types. The Mega's aura on its allies is deliberately not in this table — it does not change the Mega's own time to win, and the mega planner is where the lobby-wide effect is measured.
