Raid counters

Every attacker in the Game Master, simulated against this boss move by move. Change the tier, level, weather, friendship or filters and the ranking re-runs; the URL is the share link. Same boss on pokebattler.com. How accurate is this?

Not obtainable in Pokemon GO as of 2026-10-03: PvPoke flags it released:false and onemorecatch.site lists the species as unavailable. It is left out of default counter lists, boss pickers, tools and the Pokebox; the numbers on this page are what the Game Master gives it.

Beating Silvally (Fire) should take 4 trainers with level 40 counters of this strength. The Win % column is quoted at 4 trainers — the count the Estimator rounds up to, because at a full lobby every counter on this list wins every run and the column stops telling you anything. Set a lobby size below to ask a different question.

How accurate is this? Same top pick as pokebattler.com on 26 of 27 lists checked, 90% of its top tens shared; weakest on Mewtwo's default list (7 of 10).

Ranking. Our full ranking against the page pokebattler.com serves for the same boss and settings, on 27 boss and filter combinations read live (2026-10-04): 242 of 270 top-ten places shared, the same #1 on 26. On the six fixed reference bosses (read 2026-10-03): 85% top-ten overlap with its default filters, 83% with Shadow, Mega and Legendary on. A close top three is shown as a tie because the order inside it is below what we can measure.

Time to win. Graded with Pokebattler's own movesets against every boss moveset, average per boss: Tier 1 and 3 +0.1% to +1.2%; Tier 5 −2.9% to +1.3%; Mega −1.1% to +2.6%; Shadow Tier 5 −1.8% to +0.3%. One attacker can be off by more: median 1.6%, worst 15%, RMS per boss moveset 2.05%.

Known weak spots.
  • Mewtwo (Tier 5, default filters) shares 7 of Pokebattler's top 10: Absol, Incineroar and Salamence sit just outside ours, Polteageist, Cursola and Hisuian Typhlosion just inside.
  • Groudon (Tier 5, default filters) shares 7 of 10; its Grass and Water counters run 2-6% fast here.
  • Tier 5 times run about 2-3% fast for attackers that faint often, and 2-3% slow on Mega Charizard Y and Mega Beedrill, whose counters resist the boss.
  • Tier 1 lists are the least checked: Combee (Tier 1) shares only 3 of Pokebattler's top 10, with Gigalith first here where Pokebattler puts Rhyperior.

What the columns mean

Power and Estimator are printed on Pokebattler's own scale, converted from our simulated time to win by the per-tier constants measured off its published rows (Tier 5 / Mega / Shadow Tier 5: within ~3% of its numbers per attacker; Tier 1 and Tier 3 are a loose fit — read the ordering there, not the digits). Faints is our own solo-trainer count and is the column that still disagrees with Pokebattler's effectiveDeaths on which attackers are bulky — the same disagreement that puts a frail attacker a few places too high on this list; that is a simulator question, tracked in the accuracy report.

Overall is time to win discounted by how much damage the attacker deals per life, so a bulkier attacker can outrank a marginally faster glass cannon — Pokebattler's own published Overall blend (“Tier 5 Raids — 50% Power, 50% Time to Win. Time to Win goal is 300s. Raid size 8”) carried onto the one scale both simulators measure. It is the default sort, as on Pokebattler, and like Pokebattler's it is taken over a random boss moveset: each attacker's moveset is chosen, and every number on its row averaged, over the boss's whole movepool, not over one boss moveset. Power is the share of the boss one attacker removes in a single life. Estimator is the number of trainers of this attacker needed to finish inside the 5:00 raid timer — it is time to win ÷ timer, so sorting on it gives the same order as sorting on Time to win. Time to win, faints and TDO are one trainer soloing the boss with a party of six, relobbying after a wipe. Win % is the share of runs that beat the timer with 4 trainers of it. Open a moveset to see every alternative the simulator scored for that attacker.

Hardest movesets to raid against

The same boss is a different fight depending on what it knows. Each row re-simulates the top 6 counters above against one specific moveset; the list is ordered hardest first, and clicking a row filters the whole page to that moveset — the ranking, the estimator and the share link all follow.

Measured over the top 6 attackers on the list above rather than by re-ranking the whole roster once per moveset — the ordering is what the table is for, and a full re-rank per moveset would cost ten times the page's whole simulation budget. Win % is the share of runs 4 trainers of those attackers finish inside the raid timer. Overall is Pokebattler's published blend on its own absolute scale (higher is easier), not a percentage of the best row the way the ranked table's Overall column is — which is why an easy boss reads well above 100% here.

Shadow, Mega and Legendary start unchecked because that is the filter state pokebattler.com serves a visitor. Ranked 30 attackers in 2.3 s (50 Monte Carlo runs each, seed 1), moveset table 0.1 s. Update ranking re-reads the settings; Re-run simulation rolls a new seed on the same settings, so the difference between two runs is this table's own error bar.
